A Handful of Late Night Angsty Haiku

Friendship can't be found
At the bottom of a glass
But I'll drink to Night

At the end of each
Day of friends and make belief
Darkness waits, alone...

Night is the mirror
Of a solitary soul
Its beauty crushing

My beautiful Nyx
I worship thee with silence
But long for your kiss

Solitary life
My friend and my nemesis
Love, hate, both the same

The world's gone to bed
Funny how no one's around
When you're most alone

Longing - but for what?
This question I ask from Night
But it is silent

Bore my friends again
With angsty little haiku
If they're even read...
